Michael Kucera Michael Kucera is a member of Geeks2U's Central Coast division, having joined us in early 2008. To date, he has a Bachelor of Commerce and his Information Technology Certificate IV.
He began his professional experience eight years ago as Desktop Support Level 1 and 2, troubleshooting hardware, software and networks in a Windows 2000 and Lotus Notes environment. He also provided onsite support for the staff at IBM.
Michael has spent the last six years as Computer Field Technician, adding a wider, stronger knowledge base to his previous education and experience. In this position, he has built desktop systems from components, starting with a tower and computer parts and ending with a working, custom-built computer. He has offered computer and internet support and repair for home users and small businesses.
Some of his accomplishments include providing desktop rollouts for the Attorney General's Department and Server rollouts and patching for a large bank. In addition, Michael has done application deployments and re-imaging of desktops and servers, installed VPN remote access software, installed computer hardware such as memory, hard drives and optical drives, and has been a team lead of three technicians.
Michael has excellent communication skills and a professional, friendly manner, which gives him the ability to set our customers at ease. His questions, explanations and suggestions are spoken in an easy-to-understand manner, appreciated by customers and fellow technicians alike.
