Reyan Fernando
Geeks2U is proud to introduce Reyan Fernando as our newest addition to the Geelong Geeks2U team.

Reyan joined Geeks2U in early 2008 with twelve years of schooling and five years of professional experience. He began his education with a VCE (Victorian Certificate of Education) and immediately followed up with a Bachelor of Business for Information Systems. Directly after that, he entered the Cisco Network Academy Program and graduated in 2006 as a Certified Cisco Network Associate.

Professionally, Reyan's first position was as a Trainee Support Officer with many responsibilities and the opportunity to put his training to the test. Installing, troubleshooting, replacing and supporting PC hardware and software, creating email addresses and profiles, and configuring PCs to a Novell network and networking printers were just a few of his duties.

Just before joining Geeks2U, Reyan held the position of Computer Technician /Workshop Manager. Here, he performed onsite repair of computers and printers - for both homes and businesses. In addition, he installed computer systems for small to medium-sized businesses, performed troubleshooting on computers and networks, provided installation, troubleshooting and replacement of PC hardware and software - including backing up and rebuilding computers - and removal of malicious software and viruses, to name some of his duties.

Though his professional history is short compared to some, Reyan's IT knowledge is equal to that of his contemporaries, and his customer service and interpersonal skills are top-notch.
