Robert Dalla

Robert Dalla recently joined Geeks2U as an IT Consultant in our Sunshine Coast division, and is an author and co-author of technical innovations.  He started with a strong education in algorithmic, programming, networking and systems analysis and design.

Professionally, Robert Dalla spent ten years as a Computer Engineer for a French astronomy research center, providing computing services, technical expertise, support and assistance for both computer hardware and software issues.  In addition, he provided electronic and software developments such as C++, .NET and Visual Basic, and project coordination where he supervised technical staff.

Robert then became an IT Support and Administration Technician, giving onsite and remote support for Microsoft related products including MS Servers, Desktops, Laptops and LAN related issues.  His services also incorporated installation, configuration and maintenance of Microsoft systems.

Shortly before coming to Geeks2U, Robert held a position as a Computer Field Engineer, providing onsite support and computer repair services for individuals and business customers in any aspect needed.  This included maintenance, troubleshooting, installing hardware, upgrades, security, and internet/wireless/network setups, to name a few.  Robert also visited the customers to discuss their particular needs and provided support and maintenance for business customers running a MS server environment.

His list of abilities is long, and includes everything from operating systems to system maintenance, database programs and data analysis programs.  With his extensive IT background, strong customer relations skills and "how-to" knowledge, Robert makes an excellent IT Consultant for Geeks2U.
