Geeks2U HQ

Why work at Geeks2U? I’m glad you asked. Why don’t you see for yourself:

Our Core Values

So we are all on the same page, we have a set of Core Values that everyone at Geeks lives and breathes by. “We love our customers”, “we value our people”, “leave your ego at the door”, “on Wednesdays we wear pink”… Okay, that last one was made up, but you get the idea. You can find a complete list of our Core Values here.

Office activity

We love feedback!

We’re obsessed with transparency. It’s why we use employee happiness tool TINYpulse. Staff can anonymously offer feedback and ask questions on anything and everything; feedback and questions that the entire company can read. We proudly respond to and share every comment, and anything that begs further discussion is put forward at our regular all-hands meetings. We want to make sure our Team are given every avenue to offer suggestions and feedback to make Geeks the best it can be!

Grow with us

We’re growing – fast! And there’s enormous opportunity for you to grow with us too. We have a track record of looking within the company to fill open positions. Two of our current department heads have made their way up through the Customer Service Team. Our Head of Technology was also one of the first technicians that Geeks2U had – over eight years ago!

Our people are everything!

It’s why one of our Core Values is “We value our people”. Individual accomplishments and team achievements are recognised and rewarded; recognised through regular, open and honest communication; rewarded with salary and promotions. Not to brag, but we also have an awesome office with a huge breakout area and kitchen with all the trimmings, fresh seasonal fruit to snack on every day and not to mention, we throw a pretty great team function. What’s not to love?

Sound good? Have a look below to see some of the opportunities we have available at the moment.

The launch of the Apple iPhone 11 was, not surprisingly, mostly about the iPhone 11. Well, to be strict, it was about the iPhone 11, which is the entry level model, the iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. However, iPhones weren’t the only topics of Apple’s heavy-handed hype at its recent launch… More

At the IFA trade show in Berlin, I had the opportunity to go hands-on with Samsung’s new Galaxy Fold. Not for quite long enough to write a full review, given I had 45 minutes, but enough time to run through its major features, as well as to spot some of its less than stellar compromises…. More

We’ve seen a steady increase in the capabilities of Wi-Fi over the past decade, along with a dizzying array of acronyms to go with it. If you’re au fait with the difference between, say, 802.11b and 802.11n, that’s fine — but very few folks actually are. That’s also coincided with an immense growth in the… More

It doesn’t feel like all that long ago that my viewing choices for the evening comprised just two channels. I grew up in regional NSW, and I could pick from the local regional commercial channel, or the ABC. Programs were on, and then they weren’t. If I missed a program, too bad. My best bet… More
