It’s hard to get by in this day and age without having access to email. If you don’t have an account, we can explain your options and help to set one up for you.

If you’re having problems accessing your existing email account, we’ll come out to you and troubleshoot what’s wrong.

Email setup & training

Email setup & training

If you don’t have an email account, we’ll explain to you the different options available to you to get one. There are free products on the market like Google’s Gmail which are great for consumers!

If you don’t want to be tied to one email provider, you could talk to us about registering your own domain name too. This would be your own personal “@insert_name” that you’d keep forever. You could change providers as often as you liked and take it with you. (That’s right, no more having to let friends know that you’d changed email addresses yet again!)

Once you’ve decided how you’d like to proceed, we’ll help you to set it up and show you how to use it. There are all kinds of shortcuts we can show you that will make you more productive!

Accessing your emails on a mobile or tablet
Accessing your emails on a mobile or tablet

Your local Geek will setup your email account on your other personal devices like a smartphone or tablet so that you can send and receive emails on them too.

Whilst they’re at it, they’ll make sure that your emails are syncing correctly across your computer and other devices. This just means that whatever you do on one device will be reflected on your others. If you reply to an email on your tablet, it will show up as having been replied to on your phone and computer as well!

If you’re having problems accessing your existing email account, it could be any number of things causing the issue. We’ll troubleshoot what’s wrong and get it fixed. If it’s a problem on your internet service provider’s end, we’ll figure that out too and help you communicate what’s wrong to them!
